THE SHADOW SERIES |

Sculpture is a three dimensional pure plastic experience; the cube being the purest representaion. The shadows cast from three dimensional works create two dimensional images.
This series is a study of the relationships between two and three dimensional works of art.
In this series, the pure cube has been given a radius on each of its six sides. These sculptural works executed in white Italian marble and bronze are referred to as Solid Shadows.
When placed adjacent to one another, these Solid Shadows cast a shadow to create the two dimensional works on paper; the Shadows. |
